Description

Human trafficking is a horrific crime in which perpetrators exploit the bodies and labor of vulnerable people for their own illicit profits. Because of the methods traffickers use and locations they target, the energy sector can play a critical role in helping to end human trafficking through education and awareness.

Please join us and TAT Energy at the Eastern Ohio Coalition Build to learn how you could join us in the fight against human trafficking. This half-day event will be held in Cadiz, Ohio, on Aug. 12 at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Mine Safety Training Center.

TAT's Coalition Builds are half-day human trafficking awareness events that bring together key industry stakeholders with local, state and federal law enforcement and government agencies to work together to close loopholes to traffickers.

ACOPS is a regional group (fully supported by the state oil and gas trade associations) consisting of security personal from upstream, midstream and downstream operators from Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia as well as local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. The goals are information sharing, watching trends, and networking all in an effort to send everyone home safe at the end of the day.
