ROBERT BRUNDRETT NAMED PRESIDENT OF OHIO OIL & GAS ASSOCIATION

COLUMBUS—Bruce Levengood, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, today announced that Robert Brundrett has been named President of the Ohio Oil & Gas Association.

For the past 10 years, Brundrett performed multiple roles at The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association, most recently serving as Managing Director of Public Policy Services. In that role, he was in charge of coordinating policy for the association and developing and implementing its political, legislative and regulatory strategies. He also served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Auditor of State and worked in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate.

“Robert’s years of experience working in trade associations and his familiarity with public policy and the state legislature make him a tremendous choice to lead our Association,” Levengood said. “I look forward to working together in the years ahead to serve our members and benefit our industry.”

“I am incredibly honored to lead the Ohio Oil and Gas Association,” Brundrett said. “I am excited to work with the Board of Trustees and members to continue the association’s great work. There is so much opportunity for oil and gas in Ohio.”

Brundrett is a native of Troy, Ohio. He earned his law degree from Cleveland State University and his undergraduate degree from Xavier University.

Founded in 1947, OOGA is a statewide trade association that serves about 1,300 members whose mission is to protect, promote, foster and advance the common interests of those engaged in all aspects of Ohio’s natural gas and oil industry.
