Senate Bill 219 takes effect September 23, 2026, marking the culmination of years of work to revamp Ohio’s oil and gas regulatory framework. SB 219 will help the industry streamline processes, protect the oil and gas fund, and modernize some of Ohio’s oil and gas laws to keep up with technological and geological advancements in the industry. This webinar will outline the major provisions of SB 219 and inform members on how to prepare for the bill's implementation.

Stephanie is Director of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs at the Ohio Oil & Gas Association, where she advocates for Ohio’s oil and gas industry at the Ohio General Assembly and relevant state and federal agencies. She also manages regulatory and technical matters between the Association and key agencies. Prior to joining OOGA in 2022, Stephanie worked at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, where she served as the Director of External Relations and eventually the Director of Energy & Environmental Policy. She also previously served as a legislative aide to State Representative Andy Thompson in the Ohio House of Representatives, a project manager at King Strategic Strategies and a legislative assistant for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

Stephanie is an alumnus of Ashland University where she graduated as from the Ashbrook Scholar program. She lives in Gahanna with her husband Zebulon and her sons Griffin and Rowan.
