Chris has focused his practice on oil and gas since 2008, and has extensive knowledge and experience with a wide variety of transactional and litigation issues affecting the oil, gas and pipeline industries in Ohio and across the country.  After years of counseling some of the largest operators in the United States in a variety of transactional matters and disputes, Chris joined EOG Resources, Inc. in 2026 and now serves as in-house counsel for EOG's Columbus Division.  Chris has experience with surface use agreements, operating agreements, the Ohio Dormant Mineral Act (ODMA), the Marketable Title Act (MTA), lease disputes, eminent domain issues, mandatory pooling, statutory unitization, royalty disputes, and mineral title issues, among others.
