Ohio Natural Energy Institute’s 2nd Annual Bowling for Scholar Dollars
While this event is a fun time with colleagues, it also has a huge impact on the future of our industry! All donations go to the Ohio Natural Energy Foundation, which funds scholarships for students pursuing career paths in the natural gas and oil industry. 2025 is the first year that scholarships will be $1,500 each, raised from $1,000, to help offset the rising costs of tuition and fees that these students are facing.
Date & Time: March 6, 2025, after the OOGA President’s Reception from 10 PM – 1 AM
Transportation will be provided from the Hilton Hotel at Easton to Star Lanes on Polaris Parkway. Food and open bar are provided at the lanes!

We offer three options for participation:
OPTION 1: JOIN OUR MAIN EVENT! - REGISTER NOW: ONLY 20 TEAM SPOTS AVAILABLE!
Each partner can create as many 4-person teams as they want ($500 donation per 4-person team) and bowl against the other teams on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10 PM – 1 AM following the OOGA Chairman’s Reception at the 2025 OOGA Annual Meeting. Compete for the Championship Bowling Trophy and year-long bragging rights by donating $1 per pin of your team’s total 3-game score. A bus will be provided for safe travel to and from Star Lanes. Food and beverages will be provided at the lanes. Free open bar and food will be provided at the lanes!
OPTION 2: BOWL REMOTE
Each partner can create as many 4-person teams as they want ($500 donation per 4-person team) and bowl any time at any bowling alley near their base operations and submit their scores to the Foundation before Thursday, March 6, 2025. Compete for the Championship Bowling Trophy and year-long bragging rights by donating $1 per pin of your team’s total 3-game score.
OPTION 3: TO BOWL OR NOT TO BOWL?
Forego the Championship Bowling Trophy and exclusive bragging rights and donate a set amount whether you choose to bowl or not to bowl. The three levels of donation are Open $500, Spare $750, and Strike $1,000.
